Yanrong Li

MELD Lab Manager

Yanrong Li is the Lab Manager for the Mathematics Education Learning & Development (MELD) Lab at UW–Madison. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and earned her master’s degree in Economics and Education at Columbia University. Prior to joining the lab, she taught middle school math for two years. Her research interests focus on mathematical cognition, specifically ratio processing, financial literacy interventions, and cross-cultural comparative analysis, with a broader goal of translating mathematical mindsets into real-world applications.
