People Type: Research Staff

Catherine Axness is the project manager for the Fractions & Algebra project. She graduated from UW–Madison in May 2025 with a degree in Psychology. As an undergraduate, Catherine worked as a research assistant on the project through the Cognitive Development & Communication Lab. She hopes to attend graduate school to study Clinical Psychology or Counseling.  

Yanrong Li is the Lab Manager for the Mathematics Education Learning & Development (MELD) Lab at UW–Madison. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and earned her master’s degree in Economics and Education at Columbia University.
